He's Back

Antonio arrived Wednsday feb. 14 at around 6:00p.m. (sounds like I am announcing a birth, kinda felt like labor) we are doing well. It is so nice to have him home, it is still a little sureal. I have to say that this Valentines was full of special presents the first ofcoarse was him and then he brought me some beautiful roses and he bought himself a wedding band, sounds weird i know but he lost his a couple years ago. Actually the one he had he didnt wear much so it really meant a lot that he felt it was time to go get one. God has really changed his heart drastically and it is so awesome to see his power working right in front of your eyes. Please pray for us as we all adjust to each other it can be quite difficult. It is a huge adjustment especially for him. He loves us so much and is a great, but realistically leading Marines and your family is like day and night. Thanks in advance. Love you all

Out of the Mouth of....Devin

I wanted to post this before I forgot, it was too cute. I was finishing up my serving of eggs at the stove and the kids were at the table and out of the blue I hear Devin asking Ashlyn, "Is God in my heart?" Ashlyn says, " Yes, he is." and Devin comes back with," is he all yucky in there?" It was so funny and so cute and innocent. I tried my best to explain that we have a physical body with the blood and "yucky stuff" and then there is a part in there that we can't see, but it doesnt get yucky, then i said I think cause i guess i really dont know technically. Anyways it was cute. The we were doing a timeline of new testiment and in devin drawing Adam did not disobey and he ate something he was supposed to, ahh what an optomist. Got to love it.

Two More Days and We'll Be Through

Yeah....Antonio should be arriving wendsday during the wee hours just after Tuesday so I think two days is pretty accurate. We have been delayed once, he was supposed to be in Monday night at 1100, but there flight got delayed from Kuwait. I probably would have taken it a lot harder if I hadnt come down with a horrible stomach bug Friday night at my Pampered Chef party. Yes, I know crazy, and it was that sudden. I was fine until about 5:00 and I started to get a stomach ache and then it progressed rather quickly after that, by 9"00 I had to abandon my poor consultant and go to bed. It was horrible, My wonderful friend Missy took the kids for me Saturday night and took them to church today, I really needed to be able to recoup. So I got the call this morning from Antonio about the delay and we both chalked it up to more recovery time for me. I am feeling better, but my stomach is constantly gurggling and very sensitive. Please pray that the kids can not get this or at least a small degree of it, it was horrible, I felt totally helpless to help my self. And also a prayer for contentment for our family would be great. Sorry to not have pictures today, I will get some out soon.
