Happy Mothers Day everyone. We have had a great day relaxing. We keep days like this simlple and just encourage the person who's day it is. I have been talking about a pedicure for awhile so after church antonio suprised me and stopped by a salon and had me get one. It was great. Ashlyn and Kailyn stayed with me and the boys went to the grocery store. The chairs they had there gave the best messages, i was in heaven. My toes look so pretty and ashlyn also got her nails painted. She got flowers on her thumbs and i got them on my big toe nails. It is so nice to look down and see pretty painted nails!! The boys met us with lots of goodies. I got some potatoe soup from the deli and the cdrab legs for later. For dinner antonio made an old favorite of his from childhood, chicken and sausage gumbo. It was so yummy. Oh and i woke up this morning to ashlyn and devin chanting happy mothers day to me. Ashlyn made me a vase from and old playdough container. She cut pieces of construction paper and glued them to i and added a heart also cut from construction paper. Her friend Taylor helper her make a tissue paper flower and a card shaper like the leaves. I love homemade gifts they are so special. Then about 10 minutes later devin came running in and gave me a card he had whipped up really quick, so sweet.
