4 Days and Counting

Friday is coming quick, I cant believe Monday is almost over. We are having church at our house tomorrow and everyone is gonna pitch in and help move and clean, totally awesome. I get a little surge of panic every now and then when I think of the upcoming week and weeks after we are out of here. Oh if anyone has any great car games to share, especially for active little boys, I would love them. We have tenants for the house, we received the deposit on Friday so that is a relief and we have all the stuff that was filling up the garage in the moving truck. Well that's all I have for now, sorry about the choppy sentences (that's what my brain thinks like theses days) and no pictures. Take care and I probably wont blog again until California. Toodles

Devin's 4th Birthday was on April 9th. We kept both of their birthdays simple this year. They each chose to go to chucky cheese and have pinapple upside down cake. Then they got to pick a few presents. We had a good time enjoying Daddy home for a birthday.

Antonio and I on our way to his Career Coarse dinner. We had fun with each other, just hanging out and chatting with lots of people. The kids got to go and play with friends, we all had a good time.

19 Days till We Move

Hi, I didn't realize it has been over a 2 months since I posted, I think i know what holds me back, it is the pictures. I am terrible about taking them and even more terrible about loading them on the computer, so I feel like I am cheating everyone if I don't post with pictures. Any who...what have we been doing the last 2 months. Well Antonio was in Career Coarse right after getting back so his homework kept us all pretty busy, but we got to end that with a formal dinner so that was fun and I do have a picture but it isn't downloaded so I will not be posting it LOL. After that he went on leave and has been and will be till Friday then he will go back for 4 days and he will spend them checking out and then he is on leave for 40 some more days. We plan to leave here on the 30Th (yes May) and will hopefully arrive in 29 Palms by June 15Th. So we have been spending most of our time, up until a few weeks ago, keeping the house presentable for showings. We have it on the market for sale or rent, but we have a couple of prospective renters one is supposed to be sending their deposit. I will be very happy to see that come in it has been a tid of a run around. But I think God is just helping me be a little more peaceful and patient. We have a lot of the house packed up and ready for the moving truck which arrives on the 23rd and will be picked up on the 29th and go on its journey to California. We will be driving across country, 1st Virginia Antonio's friend is graduating from The Basic School and they will be off to Okinawa. Then off to Iowa so my husband can finally see what the corn state is all about, yes 8 and half years of marriage and he has never been there. Then we are going down to Texas to see his cousin and Aunt and then we will cut over to California. I am looking forward to it, I have never driven across country so it should be fun.

Ashlyn and Devin have been well. Ashlyn is really growing in her reading and Devin is starting some lessons when he feels up to it. Ashlyn really enjoys art so we are going to be trying everything in lapbooks. We got a new science curriculum from the Apologetics and a labbook to go with that. Hopefully Devin enjoys art also or we will be in trouble. Take care till next time
